Hebridean Heaven - Part 5

My last morning on the island was probably the most colourful...but also the windiest! I made my way down to the beach via the graveyard (respectfully sticking to the very edge) again and to a similar spot I had occupied the morning before.

As I mentioned in an earlier blog, the tide here is deceptive. There are no obvious signs, with huge, crashing waves etc - the tide just creeps in with the seawater snaking around the sandbanks, sneakily tricking the unsuspecting photographer into thinking he's got bags of time! Luckily, I managed to get this shot before sunrise and when both waters met, killing the wonderful shapes...
